Library Lecture: Urban Farming

Temple students Alex Epstein of Philly Urban Creators, Katy Ament with Temple Community Gardens, and students from the FarmLab architecture seminar discuss their first-hand experiences with a variety of urban farming models.

This discussion is moderated by Glenn Bergman, the general manager of Weaver’s Way Co-op, a vital institution of community involvement in Northwest Philadelphia. For forty years, Weaver’s Way has provided a diverse selection of high quality, fair-priced foods and a broader understanding of the importance of those to its members and community.
