Horror Hotel

In 1692, in the isolated New England community of Whitewood, Massachusetts, the witch Elizabeth Selwyn was burned at the stake, but was she really destroyed? At a modern day college professor Allan Driscoll (Christopher Lee) lectures his students about the events surrounding this historical incident. One of his students, the beautiful Nan Barlow, wants to write a term paper on the incident and professor Driscoll helps arrange for her to stay at the Ravenis Inn, the very spot where the witch burning took place. Both her boyfriend and her brother are skeptical, and implore her not to go, but she won’t listen. When she disappears after checking in to the inn, they go to Whitewood to investigate. To their horror, they discover that a coven of witches has sacrificed her in a satanic ritual. (1960)
